Hello, I'm Diane...
Firstly, a warm welcome. Counselling can feel like a big step, and having questions is perfectly normal. You may be wondering if this is right for you, if you will know what to say, or if you even need counselling at all. That’s why it is important that you feel in control of the process. I offer a free 30 minute telephone appointment to help answer these questions, and for us to get to know each other before you make any decisions. Together we can decide how I might help and support you to make positive changes in your life.
How can Brook Counselling help you?
Counselling can be a safe and confidential space to explore the difficulties you are experiencing. I can help you express your ways of thinking and behaving in a non-judgemental space. It is a collaborative process that allows you to feel heard and to develop a clear understanding of your problems and goals for therapy. You will make links between your thought processes, emotional responses and behaviour patterns, paving the way for positive change.
By rethinking your presenting problems in a way that feels clearer and less confusing, you are empowered to challenge beliefs, build confidence and develop effective coping strategies.
